Embossing Powder Paper 1. Rub embossing ink on Embossing Craft sheet, sprinkle on various colors of embossing powders (eggplant, butterscotch, lettuce, ginger and cranberry and embossing pearls were used). Heat until melted. While powders are still hot, pour clear UTEE on top and heat until glossy. The addition of UTEE will create a spotty, rich glazed look. Add pinches of Gold UTEE. Let cool. 2. After the powders have cooled for a few minutes, gently peel mixture off the craft sheet. Place over a plastic container and break into tiny chips; set aside. |

| Butterfly Wall Hanging 1. Stamp Clearly Posh Big Bold Butterfly stamp on paper using black dye base ink. Cut out butterflies with scissors and trace on SeeGlass shrink plastic using a ballpoint pen. Cut an irregularly rounded piece of SeeGlass that is approximately 4 inches wide. Punch a 1/4-inch hole in the top. Shrink piece and press any stamp into the shiny back of the piece while still extremely hot, this will leave an impression that looks interesting from the frosted side. 2. Punch holes in head of butterflies to attach wire and beads. Also, use a triangle punch to add decorative touches to other parts of the wing. 3. Shrink butterflies with a heat tool or in a 250-degree oven until they lay flat. 4. While each butterfly is still very hot, begin dropping pieces of embossing paper onto the frosted side. Be sure to leave some areas of the plastic uncovered. Heat the embossing paper until the powders adhere to the plastic, and then begin placing beads, charms and other embellishments on top of the heated powders. Heat until the beads sink firmly into the powders. Allow to cool thoroughly. 5. Cut off about 1-1/2 yards of 36-gauge copper wire. Create a loop at the top leaving about 3 inches, which will be coiled around the wire to create a closure. 6. Start stringing beads in various colors and sizes onto the wire. 7. Feed wire end through punched hole in the butterflys head. 8. Bring wire back up and coil around the last bead to keep it in place. 9. Bring wire down behind butterfly and repeat steps 7 through 9 until all of the SeeGlass pieces and beads are attached. Add charms and coils to embellish. |

| Trinket Box In creating this project, we recycled a box that contained slides. It is the perfect size and shape for this projecteven the lid was already frosted! 1. Squeeze a small amount of Verdigris and Copper DECORit inks onto a paper plate. Using a cosmetic sponge, apply the Verdigris ink all over the base of the box. Randomly repeat with the Copper ink leaving some of the Verdigris showing. Let dry. 2. Using deckle scissors, cut a rectangular piece of SeeGlass approximately 5" x 3-1/2". Also, cut a thin strip, approximately 6" x 1/2" to create a stick. |

3. Shrink both pieces with a heat tool until they lay flat. 4. Wrap a 6-inch piece of thin copper wire around the SeeGlass strip to embellish. 5. Reheat rectangle piece until very hot; drop on embossing paper chips on frosted side and heat until melted. Gradually add more where desired. 6. While mixture is still hot, lay on thin wired SeeGlass stick and various beads and charms. Heat again until the beads and stick settle. Let cool completely. 7. Glue onto box top with epoxy or nail glue. |

| Necklace 1. Using deckle scissors, cut a piece of SeeGlass approximately 4-1/2" x 3-1/2". Cut the edges to create a rounded look. Randomly cut notches all around to simulate the look of broken glass. Cut another piece approximately 6" x 1/2" to create a stick. 2. Punch a hole near the top of the plastic using a 1/4-inch hole punch. Punch three holes on the bottom of the piece using a 1/8-inch hole punch. 3. Shrink pieces using a heat tool until they lay flat. 4. Punch a tiny lizard and some spirals out of Magic Metal copper that has been heated on a hot plate or stove. 5. Heat large SeeGlass piece until it is very hot. While heating, drop on embossing paper chips. Heat until the chips are melted, adding more as desired until you get just the right colors and texture. |

6. While the mixture is still hot, place the SeeGlass stick across the pendant about a 1/2 inch below the top. Using the heat tool, allow the stick to melt into the powder, while gradually adding spirals, lizard and beads. Let cool. 7. Using a head pin, string on beads making one slightly longer than the other two. Leave enough space at the end of the pin to roll over with needle-nose pliers. This will create a hook so that the beaded pin may hang from the punched holes at the bottom of the pendant. Trim head pins with a wire cutter if necessary. 8. Attach a jump ring to the hole at the top of the pendant; add necklace. |
